My story.. so I had a landscaper do some work for me, And they installed two blue spruce globes. After the landscaper left, I noticed that there was like what look like a mat around the stem of the tree along with the stick, and I had questions about whether the mat should stay around the trunk… It appeared that all the nurseries were closed, but this one did not state that it was closed, so I called and a lovely woman answered. It turned out to be the owner. It was her personal cell phone, and even though I had not purchased from her, she went above and beyond to help me figure out what kind of graph the tree was …I had to send pictures. She told me what to do, she called me back, we texted ..this woman stayed available to me and helped me figure it all out knowing that she was going to literally get nothing in return except a thank you and my utmost gratitude and respect. I don’t even live in her state, but if I did, this is where I would do all of my purchasing needs. Her integrity and kindness was so nice in this day and age. My day had been a really rough one and it was so nice to actually Communicate with someone who cared just because you were another human being. Much respe

They have an amazing selection of natives and cultivars. I now have 7 different colors of coneflower and some amazing true native plants for my journey towards creating a safe place for all pollinators. Update: these amazing plants attracted monarchs and they laid eggs! My husband and I have never seen so many beneficial bugs in the 6 years we’ve lived here.

She is very knowledgeable about the plants and helpful with suggestions and answering customers' questions. I purchased native pollinator plants such a butterfly milkweed, bee balm and also some beautiful echinacea. She is great to work with, and also responses promptly to questions on fb messenger! Easy to find her when she is set up to sell; she posts frequently on the fb page. Highly recommend, especially if you're looking for native plants.

I've bought many of Laura's native plants for myself, and plant shopped for friends. Very impressed with the quality of her natives! Here's just one garden where I've planted some natives from Peacock Valley. Should be full of blooms and filled in over the next few years! EDIT: Adding a pic to show these plants in their second year!

Let me start by saying that Laura has been nothing but kind and informative. Peacock Valley Nursery is beautiful, just like the work they do. They are one of the only places close to our area shown on the Indiana Native Plant Society's site and their selection of Indiana Natives were just what we were looking for. They have more than just natives and you can contact them online or via Facebook to start. Highly recommend this beautiful place and be sure to note that going to the nursery is by appointment only, so be sure to reach out beforehand to ensure the best customer experience. They have been wonderful, the place is amazing, and we will absolutely be returning and providing business here ☺ Update: All the plants we have purchased are doing so well and it is the most grateful "thanks" to this place being our nursery and helping us get our property certified as an Indiana Natives Garden by the Indiana Native Plant Society! Thank you all! Peacock Valley also has giftcards and I was gifted one for birthday! Please go support local!
